Levi
Ranking among the biggest ski resorts in Finnish Laplands, Levi fell is situated at a height of 531 metres above the sea level and has over 48 ski slopes. Located in the Kittila municipality, Levi plays host to many renowned skiing competitions. Situated around 170 kilometres above the Arctic Circle, the resort offers exceptional skiing experience and an insight into the Lappish culture.

Skiing is undoubtedly the most important attraction in Levi. Apart from this, tourists can visit the Sammun Tupa in Levi and the splendid Lapp village for a wonderful experience. St. Mary's Chapel is another prominent landmark in the resort. The enchanting Snow village Lainio, near Levi replete with snow buildings captivates the tourists with its snowy splendour.
Nature lovers rejoice in the picturesque views of the verdant forests. Aekenustunturit, Katkatunturi, Pallastunturit and Yllas are the fells that are the nearby attractions of Levi. The town of Kittila, located ten kilometres south of Levi is another significant place to visit in Levi. Splendid Sirkka village inhabited by the locals offers a glimpse of the tradition, lifestyle and culture of the people of Levi.
Ski
The 230 kilometres of skiing tracks are well suited for cross country skiing in Levi. There are around 15 floodlit skiing slopes in the resort that facilitate night skiing. The resort is equipped with 26 skiing lifts and the only gondola lift in Finnish Laplands. The slopes are ideal for the beginners. Levi has four black slopes that challenge the expert skiers. The resort's longest slope is 2500 metres long. Levi has a 325 metres long highest vertical drop that is ideally suited for an adventurous downhill skiing experience. The ski season in Levi begins from November and ends in May. Clearly there is much for the ski enthusiast here, and most of the tourists visit the ski resort during the months of March and April.
Do
The super pipe, half pipe, snow park and boxes are perfect for the snowboarders. Apart from skiing there are activities in galore for the tourists like ice fishing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling safaris, reindeer safaris, hot air ballooning, horse back riding, parapenting and helicopter rides to enjoy the scenic views of this alpine resort. Mountain biking and trekking are other activities that are pursued by the visitors during summer. Tourists can enjoy not only hiking but also Nordic lights, walking, canoeing and golfing in Levi. Saunas in the resort are the perfect ways to relax after hours of skiing in Levi.
Taste
Like every other resort in Finland, Levi is also famous for the reindeer delicacies. Dishes made from willow grouse (riekko) and fishes like salmon, whitefish, arctic char, etc. are popular among the visitors. The fishes are smoked or fried and served with mashed potatoes. Hamburgers, kebabs and pizzas are popular among travellers and locals. Traditional 'Sami' dinners are not to be missed, during a Levi itinerary.
Revel
Levi is a ski resort but the nightlife scene in the resort is made lively by around 30 bars and restaurants in the resort. There are lounge bars, karaoke bars, burger bars, pizzerias, etc. that offer a wide fare to the visitors.
Kid's fun
The Kid's land situated in the village's centre is the venue for the weekly programmes that are organised exclusively for the children. The ski resort has 10 children's slopes for the kid's to try a hand at skiing. The ski kindergarten in Levi is open for kids till eleven years of age. Santa excursions are arranged for the kids in the resort that leads them to the secret hide away of Santa, in the Laplands.
