What to Look For . . . Your Car Hire Checklist for a Perfect Holiday

Minimum and Maximum Age to Rent

Depending on the car hire company, there may be a minimum or maximum age to rent. Often the range is between 25 and 65 years of age, with discretionary exemptions made for those 21-25 or over 65. There may an additional fee if you are outside the allowable age range.

Type of Vehicle

For some travellers the type of car that they hire is very important, for others it is not. Although most companies have a wide variety of cars available, busy holiday times can leave travellers disappointed with the selection.
