There are innumerable areas to explore in the park. You can enjoy a barbecue or picnic in the garden. Spring season is ideal for witnessing the splendid wildflowers in full bloom.

Swan River allures hordes of visitors to enjoy its graceful beauty. Tourists can indulge in a barbecue, picnic, a walk along the banks of the river and river cruise to spend a beautiful evening. Perth Zoo is yet another tourist attraction, it being the world's smallest zoo.

Events

The Kings Park Wildflower Festival offers spectacular displays of wildflowers in the month of September. Thousands of visitors are attracted to the Perth Royal show that lasts eight days. During the months of February and March, a three weeklong Festival of Perth is celebrated in the city. The festival offers a wide range of entertainment like music, dance, drama, films and visual art. Fremantle festivals, Avondale Harvest Festival, Red Bull Air race, etc are other major events and festivals that are attended by numerous visitors from all parts of the world.

Nightlife

Tourists can experience a different kind of evening in Perth. Young travellers prefer the underground dance clubs, art galleries, themed pubs and bars. Northbridge in the city has numerous clubs and bars, which attract crowds during the weekends. The night time is filled with funk, jazz, hip hop and new styles of music that are played in the clubs.
