La Massana
 The Valley-town of La Massana is a scenic resort in Andorra's Vallnord Ski area. For a quieter ski holiday, La Massana is the perfect place. It is located closer to the capital of Andorra, La Vella. The capital is just ten minutes away from this quiet ski resort. The Ski resort of La Massana is one of the larger ski resorts that cover around half of the skiing area in Andorra. It is lift-linked to Pal sector and Arinsal sector of Vallnord area.
La Massana is popular for the the ski bases. The Ski area of La Massana offers a perfect venue for the first-time skiers and snow boarders to indulge in their favorite sport and hone their skill. The resort offers a quieter Apres Ski experience. La Massana is an apt choice for the beginners. The area located at the lift's top has less challenging slopes that can be easily negotiated by the amateur skiers. For the intermediates, the resort offers less demanding slopes and for the experts there are plenty of unexplored and difficult slopes to test their ability.
The snow park in the area is great for snowboarding. The La Borda park in the resort covers 40,000 square metres inclusive of half pipes, rails, kickers, jumps, etc. This park attracts both the amateur and professional snow boarders to the resort. Snow is kept intact for the hordes of skiers and snowboarders with the use of around 291 snow cannons.
Plenty of activities including snowmobiling, dog sledding, snowshoeing, ski biking and riding on an amphibious vehicle, 'Xinilla' make the resort a popular ski destination in Andorra. For those who need a break from skiing, shopping at the Andorran Capital, La Vella can be complete fun. A day's trip from the resort can take one to Caldea water spa. Another way to enjoy the scenic setting of the resort is the helicopter sightseeing or tour.
Any tourist can taste the delectable cuisine the resort has to offer, at competent prices. The resort does not have an active nightlife.
